Many thanks to the Associate Board of the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless, which surpassed its 2015 fundraising goal of $40,000.
Led by President Casey Wittekind and Vice President Ryan Cameron, the group raised $40,167 last year.
The Associate Board is a group of about 25 young professionals who volunteer to run special events and small benefits to support CCH’s mission.
In 2015, their efforts included a Chicago Cubs baseball outing, a Halloween party at AliveOne and a trivia night at Emporium Arcade Bar. Several Associate Board members also raised pledges for CCH through their participation in the Ravenswood 5K and the Bank of America Chicago Marathon.
Associate Board members also provide essential volunteer support at CCH events, including our annual Hopefest benefit concert, the August golf outing, and our tent at Riot Fest.
Monthly meetings are usually held the second Tuesday evening of the month at CCH’s office in the Loop. Meetings are open to anyone interested in learning more about how to get involved. Sign up to learn more HERE and a board member will get in touch with you.
The 2016 Executive Committee of the Associate Board includes Casey Wittekind as president, Garrett Napier as vice president, Alyssa Horing as secretary, Brett Rausch as fundraising chair, and Melissa Manning as membership chair.
